- 24V Repair Mode is used for repairing and restoring, old, idle, damaged, stratified, and/or sulfated lead-acid batteries using voltage up to 32V and current up to 1.5A and can be used on batteries with a capacity of up to 1000Ah.
- Force Mode is used for recovering deeply discharged batteries, even below 1V.
Note: be very careful with the Force Mode. Although (almost) fully automatic with many safety features, before using NOCO GeniusPro50 and especially its Force Mode, read the documentation that comes with the unit in order to get accustomed to your new battery charger.
- 12V Supply Mode turns the unit into a power supply with a nominal voltage of 13.6V and a maximum current of up to 50 Amps.

- 10A Charging Mode limits the output current to 10 Amps, allowing the unit to recharge smaller batteries as well. 10A Charging Mode can be used in combination with 12V, 12V AGM, 12V Lithium, 6V, 6V AGM, 6V Lithium, 24V, 24V AGM, and 24V Lithium Charging Modes.
NOCO GeniusPro50 is designed to work in ambient temperatures between -4°F and 122°F (-20°C and 50°C). Also, it features a temperature probe to avoid overcharging the batteries during summer and undercharging the batteries during winter.
The unit also comes with various signal LEDs that allow the users to easily check the unit's condition and the state of charge of the charged battery.
NOCO GeniusPro50 Charging Times
Actual charging times depend on the battery size, battery condition, temperature, Depth of Discharge, and similar.
The following chart lists approximate charging times for the batteries discharged down to 50% DoD and should be used only as a general guideline:
Battery Capacity | 6V Battery | 12V Battery | 24V Battery |
50Ah | 0.75h | 0.75h | 1.5h |
100Ah | 1.5h | 1.5h | 3h |
200Ah | 3h | 3h | 6h |
500Ah | 6h | 6h | 12h |
1000Ah | 15h | 15h | 30h |
2000Ah | 30h | 30h | - |
Note: Personally, charging a 12V 2000Ah battery and 24V 1000Ah battery for 30h lasts too long (again, this is for 50% DoD!). If You have the need for charging such batteries, go for at least 200-250 Amps battery chargers. Also, charging relatively small batteries 50-100Ah with 50A current should be done only if allowed by the manufacturers of the batteries - if unsure, use 10A Charging Mode.
