PacPow UY360 is a battery charger designed for charging Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries with a nominal voltage of 12.8V, a maximum charging voltage of 14.6V, and a maximum charging current of 20 Amps.
PacPow UY360 enables the user to quickly and safely recharge 40-200Ah LiFePO4 batteries using a CC/CV charging algorithm with a cutoff when the battery is fully recharged. This charger should NOT be used for 12V lead-acid batteries and for other 12V lithium batteries featuring other lithium chemistries.

PacPow UY360 Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Charger Features and Specifications
First of all, the documentation/manual that comes with the PacPow UY360 charger could and should be much better - fortunately, this is a relatively simple device to use, but it would be nice to know a few more details about the unit...
PacPow UY360 is intended for charging a broad range of Lithium Iron Phosphate deep-cycle batteries.
Practically, any LiFePO4 battery that may accept a 20A charging current can be recharged with this charger. These batteries range from 40Ah to 200Ah, while the actual charging time depends on the battery condition and Depth of Discharge (DoD).
On average, if 12.8V battery is discharged down to 100% DoD, PacPow UY360 requires:
- 12.8V 50Ah LiFePO4 Battery: ~3 hours,
- 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery: ~6 hours,
- 12.8V 200Ah LiFePO4 Battery: ~11 hours.
If You have a battery or battery pack that is larger than 200Ah, do yourself a favor and get a stronger battery charger - lithium batteries can accept 0.2C charging currents with ease.
As said before, the PacPow UY360 battery charger uses CC/CV (Constant Voltage/Constant Charge) charging algorithm, and when the battery is fully charged, it stops charging and signals that to the user by turning ON the green status LED.
According to the manufacturer, PacPow UY360 comes with several charging safety features, including over-current (charging current is limited to 20A), over-voltage, short circuit and reverse polarity.
Nonetheless, despite all these safety features, the PacPow UY360 battery charger should be used to charge ONLY LiFePO4 12.8V deep cycle batteries with a maximum charging voltage of ~14.6V which are protected by their own Battery Management System (BMS) - better safe than sorry, even with LiFePO4 batteries...
PacPow UY360 battery charger features energy efficiency of ≥88% and a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.
Note: lithium batteries' optimum charging/discharging temperature is 15-25°C, and charging them in extreme heat or cold can have adverse effects on their longevity and reliability.
