As its label suggests, Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus Folding Electric Bike is a compact, relatively lightweight electric bike designed for everyday commuting to work and back, for leisure rides, but also, if needed, for some sports adventures.

Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus features a very balanced design, with a sturdy, foldable aluminum frame, supporting relatively heavy riders over flat terrain. However, for traversing quickly over hilly terrain, some pedaling is required, especially from larger people.

Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus is a foldable electric bike powered by a 350W rear hub electric motor and swappable lithium 36V 6.4Ah rechargeable battery.

The unit features a sturdy aluminum frame that can be easily and quickly folded for storage and opened for use.

The bike is very agile on flat terrain, but its speed, acceleration, and hill-climbing greatly depend on the user's weight.

Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus comes with one battery that can easily be replaced with another one which must be ordered separately. This allows the user to have fun with the bike while another battery is charging - the battery can be recharged either while in the bike or out of the bike.

Battery charging time is ~4-5 hours, depending on its remaining charge. Since the battery doesn't feature a memory effect, the battery doesn't have to be discharged fully every time. On the contrary, charging the battery on time can prolong its operating lifetime.

Note: When the battery is fully charged, disconnect it from the charger.

When the unit is folded, its dimensions are 29.5 x 16.5 x 26 inches (750 x 420 x 660 mm), and when the bike is ready for use, its dimensions are 52.8 x 22 x 42.1 inches (1340 x 560 x 1070 mm).

Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus weighs 42.3 pounds (~19.2 kg) and supports users up to 264.5 pounds (~120 kg).

• Full Electric Mode,
• Pedal Assist Mode,
• Pedal-only Mode.

• Mode 1: maximum speed 11.3 mph (~18 km/h), maximum estimated range 18.6 miles (30 km),

For longer ranges, Pedal Assist and especially Pedal-only Modes are available.

For people who also like to pedal, Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus offers a 7-speed Shimano gear system.

Also, the bike comes with 16 inches (40.6 cm) air-filled tires and a suspension system, making rides over flat terrain rather smooth and comfortable.

Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus features a dual disc brake system, allowing the users to stop quickly and in a controlled manner.

Also, to increase safety, the bike comes with a white headlight and a rear red reflector.

Swagtron offers two very similar models, differing in a label (obviously), a few little details, but also in one very important detail.

Unlike Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus, Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Commuter doesn't feature a 7-speed Shimano gear system - it has only one.

This makes "Elite Commuter" models somewhat cheaper, but personally, if You are looking for an ebike for everyday commuting, leisure rides, and similar, that also includes pedaling, go for the "Elite Plus" model.

But, for those users who prefer Throttle-Only mode, "Elite Commuter" is also an excellent choice.

Long Story Short: Swagtron Swagcycle EB-7 Elite Plus is a very balanced ebike - it offers good power, solid energy reserve, it is not too heavy, can be easily folded, rides are comfortable, controls are easy to learn and intuitive, etc.

This bike should not be used for sporty rides over soft and uneven terrain, through mud and water, and similar - but it is not designed for that.
