Acebeam W30 Long Range LEP Flashlight
Acebeam W30 is a very specific flashlight powered by a strong rechargeable lithium-ion battery and featuring extra long range - it is an example of an LEP (Laser Excitation Phosphor) BLOS (Beyond the Line Of Sight) flashlight.
Acebeam W30 Long Range LEP Flashlight features a so-called PCC (Phosphor Crystal Coating) layer on a metallic substrate that produces the light beam. Using the convex lenses, the light beam is focused into a very narrow cone of only 1.8°.
Obviously, Acebeam W30 Long Range LEP Flashlight is anything but a typical LED EDC flashlight.

Acebeam W30 Flashlight Features and Specifications
Acebeam W30 is an LEP (Laser Excitation Phosphor) flashlight, often described just as a "Laser Flashlight" - LEP flashlights are very similar in many details to LED (Light Emitting Diode) flashlights, but the light generation principle is different.
Acebeam W30 features physical dimensions of (L x D) 7.84 x 2.4/1.18 inches (~199 x 61/30 mm) and it weighs 8.75 ounces (~250g).
The flashlight's body is made using aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, ensuring strong and durable construction.
According to the manufacturer, Acebeam W30 features a drop height of 1m and can withstand diving down to 100m(!).
The main components of the flashlight are the head, body, Acebeam IMR21700NP-510A battery, and tail cap.
Acebeam W30 features 500 lumens of light, which is not a very impressive value in an era of ultra-light lithium-ion batteries and ultra-compact and very efficient LED flashlights.
However, thanks to a very special lenses system, Acebeam W30 features a beam cone of only 1.8°, meaning that the light beam diameter is:

- @500m: 0.825m,
- @1000m: 1.65m,
- @1500m: 2.48m,
- @2000m: 3.3m.
The maximum light intensity is 1450000 Cd (1.45 MCd Mega-Candela), and the maximum beam reach is 2408m (~2650 yards!).
Obviously, Acebeam W30 Long Range LEP Flashlight is NOT an EDC LED flashlight - when it arrives, be sure to read the manual and get accustomed to your new flashlight.
Acebeam W30 is intended only for 18+ users and should NEVER be pointed toward people, animals, cars, planes, boats, and other vehicles.
This flashlight is designed for specific tasks - and should be used as such.
Acebeam W30 Long Range LEP Flashlight can be powered by a single 21700 battery or one 18650 battery using a special battery holder.
Since 21700 batteries feature a larger capacity and are able to produce stronger currents, 21700 battery is highly recommended.
By default, the Acebeam W30 flashlight comes with a single 3.7V 5100 mAh IMR21700NP-510A battery which can provide 20A max. and can power the flashlight for up to 1h and 45 minutes.
Acebeam IMR21700NP-510A battery can be recharged directly using any 5V 1A USB port and can even be used as a small power bank.
