NOCO Lithium Powersport Batteries Features and Specifications
NOCO lithium Powersports batteries are based on the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry, ensuring great safety especially when the cells are combined with the built-in Battery Management System (BMS).

NOCO NLP5, NLP9, NLP14, NLP20, and NLP30 batteries are designed to withstand strong charging/discharging currents, they IP66 sand/waterproof rated, they can operate in any position, they are maintenance-free, they are very resistant to the vibrations, etc.

NOCO NLP5, NLP9, NLP14, NLP20, and NLP30 Batteries as Deep Discharge Batteries
As starting batteries, NOCO NLP5, NLP9, NLP14, NLP20, and NLP30 batteries are able to provide 2x more power and support up to 50000 engine starts, while as deep discharge cycle batteries, they support up to or even more than 2000 charging/discharging cycles, making them an excellent choice for lightweight fish finder battery and similar applications.
Thanks to their strong continuous discharge currents, these batteries can be even used as ultralight lithium trolling motor batteries, but because of their low capacities (low capacity for trolling motor battery), they can't power trolling motors for longer periods of time.
How to Charge NOCO NLP5, NLP9, NLP14, NLP20, and NLP30 Batteries
NOCO NLP5, NLP9, NLP14, NLP20, and NLP30 batteries can be charged using either dedicated lithium battery chargers or lead-acid battery chargers that feature lithium battery charging modes.
For example, NOCO recommends charging these batteries using their Genius1, Genius2, Genius5, and Genius10 (Amazon links, links open in the new windows) battery chargers - just be sure to pick the right charger for the right battery.
Of course, battery chargers from other brands will do their job just fine.
Also, when they are connected to the vehicle, they are recharged via an alternator.
Long Story Short: NOCO lithium Powersports batteries cost more than the standard Powersports starting or small deep-cycle lead-acid batteries, but they offer much more than they cost.
Also, since they support charging via alternator, they are essentially backward compatible with many motorbikes, snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, watercraft, and other vehicles.
