Also, Odyssey 65-PC1750T features 5000 Amps short circuit current - its plates are made using 99.99% pure lead, ensuring thin plates, low internal resistance and low self-discharge rate.
Its intended service life is 3-10 years depending on the application and operating temperature.
Odyssey 65-PC1750T tolerates up to 400 cycles down to 80% of DoD (Depth of Discharge) and can be fully recharged in 4-6 hours, using smart AGM chargers.
Odyssey 65-PC1750T Performance Data
The following chart shows performance data of the Odyssey 65-PC1750T AGM battery when being discharged down to 10.05 volts at 77°F (25°C).
Note: we emphasize this 10.05 volts (1.675 volts per cell), since most of the batteries are tested down to 10.50 volts (1.75 volts per cell). This just shows recoverability of the Odyssey AGM batteries when being discharged almost fully.

Odyssey 65-PC1750T Automotive and LTV AGM Battery features operating temperature range from -40°F (-40°C) to 113°F (45°C). So, it can be freely left in the vehicle during the winter.
Storage time depends generally on the battery temperature and it is recommended to charge the battery when its voltage drops down to 12.0 volts (35% SoC - State of Charge). Depending on the temperature, storage time is:
- 41°F (5°C): 48 months,
- 59°F (15°C): 36 months,
- 77°C (25°C): 24 months,
- 95°F (35°C): 12 months,
- 113°F (45°C): 6 months.
To achieve long operating life, Odyssey 65-PC1750T battery should be kept nearly fully charged, at approximately 12.8 volts.
Its state of charge can be determined using common voltmeter. Depending on the measured voltage (at 77°F, 25°C), State of Charge (SoC) is:
- 12.84+ V: 100% SoC,
- 12.65 V: 85% SoC,
- 12.50 V: 75% SoC,
- 12.18 V: 50% SoC,
- 12.00 V: 35% SoC,
- 11.88 V: 25% SoC.
Depending on the use, Odyssey 65-PC1750T end charging voltage should be kept between:
- cyclic charge: 14.4 - 14.8 volts,
- float charge: 13.5 - 13.8 volts.
Note: Charging voltage should never exceed 15.0 volts, because such charging voltage may cause pressure valves to open and release excess hydrogen, oxygen and water outside, shortening the operating life of the battery.
Odyssey 65-PC1750T AGM Battery as Starting Battery
With 950 CCA Amps and 1750 PHCA Amps, Odyssey 65-PC1750T is excellent starting battery, being able to crank very large engines at very low temperatures.
If your are looking for robust and strong automotive battery for your vehicle and this battery can fit the battery compartment, consider this battery.
Vehicles that feature large number of electronic and electrical devices (audio systems, alarms, GPS, USB and other small devices' chargers, etc.) that should operate while the main engine is off, Odyssey 65-PC1750T battery can supply low currents for longer period of time and still be able to crank the engine.
Note: if you plan on wintering your battery by leaving it fully charged in the vehicle, be sure that there are no parasite currents at all. If unsure, when wintering the battery, disconnect the negative cable (or both cables!).
Odyssey 65-PC1750T AGM Battery as Trolling Motor Battery
Generally, Odyssey 65-PC1750T AGM battery is not intended for marine applications.
But if you have small boat and electric trolling motor that draws for example 25 Amps max, and the cables can fit automotiev SAE posts, than you can expect at least 145 minutes (2 hours, 25 minutes) of operation at full throttle from new, fully charged battery.
Since trolling motors are seldom run at full throttle all the time, one can expect even longer trolling time in such conditions.
After that, the battery must be properly charged for 4-6 hours.
Long Story Short: Odyssey 65-PC1750T Automotive and LTV AGM Battery is strong, durable, versatile, feature non-spillable design and it can operate in almost any position, except fully inverted.
Such features do come at certain price, but if you are looking for a reliable size 65 battery, consider this one.
