AIMTOM SPS-300 Features and Specifications
AIMTOM SPS-300 physical dimensions are 7.5 x 5.5 x 5.9 inches (~19 x 14 x 15 cm) and it weighs 7.31 pounds (~3.3 kg) - unit is small enough to fit even in a larger backpack and if it has to be carried on shorter distances, it should not be a problem thanks to the built-in handle.
AIMTOM SPS-300 uses a high-capacity 11.1V 25Ah 3-cell lithium-ion battery, which is able to store ~280 Wh of energy. The built-in battery is able to withstand 500 charging/discharging cycles down to 80% DoD (~225 Wh effectively).
The battery features a low self-discharge rate - nonetheless, when the unit is not used, it is recommended to recharge it every 3-6 months and to store the unit in a cooler area (room temperature is just fine, but do NOT keep the unit in the car during summer heat).
The maximum continuous output power of the AIMTOM SPS-300 is 300 watts, with 600 surge watts - this is more than enough for powering general electronics, charging smartphones, tablets, laptops, drones, and for smaller home appliances, like LCD TV-s, smaller refrigerators, and similar. According to the AIMTOM, AC output is a pure sine wave with very low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion), ensuring that AIMTOM SPS-300 can be used for powering sensitive devices, too.
AIMTOM SPS-300 is able to power CPAP devices up to 10 hours (depending on the power requirements, sometimes even more than 10 hours), power mini-refrigerators for 4+ hours, 32" TV of 4+ hours, can recharge drones 11+ times, cameras 35+ times, phones 40+ times, laptops 5+ times, etc.
Of course, the actual number of recharges and runtime of various devices depends on the power/energy requirement, AIMTOM SPS-300 battery charge, and the battery condition.
Output ports include:
- AC Output (Pure Sine Wave): 110V, 300W Continuous, 600W Surge
- 4x USB Outputs: 1A, 2.1A, 2x Fast Charging
- 3x 12V DC Outputs: 4A each (max)
- 1x 12V DC Car Port: 8A (max)
- 1x 24V DC Outputs: 3A (max)
AIMTOM SPS-300 comes with several safety features, including automatic cooling fan, low power alarm, over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection.
Note: AIMTOM SPS-300 is rather simple to use and maintain portable power station, but when it arrives, it is highly recommended to read the Owner's Guide (manual) thoroughly in order to get accustomed to your new portable power station.
AIMTOM SPS-300 portable power station features built-in MPPT charge controller for fast and optimized charging - unit can be recharged in several ways including:
- AC Wall Outlet in 7-8 hours,
- 12V Car Port in 7-8 hours,
- Solar Panel in 8-12 hours.
Note: AIMTOM SPS-300 doesn't include a solar panel for solar charging, but if You like outdoor activities, consider getting a good 18V 60-100W foldable solar panel. Also, when charging the power stations using a car cigarette lighter adapter, be sure to have the engine running in order to prevent discharging the car battery below safe levels (car will not be able to start if its battery is discharged below a certain level - not recommended situation when, for example, camping or hiking!).
