DenGaWa R200 Portable Power Station
DenGaWa R200 Portable Power Station is a very compact and relatively lightweight portable power station/solar generator, suitable for traveling, camping, hiking, etc.
DenGaWa R200 Portable Power Station is often considered a very large power bank, but it has everything a good power station/solar generator must have. Obviously, due to its size, it doesn't come with features commonly found on larger models, but it is also much more affordable.

DenGaWa R200 Portable Power Station/Solar Generator Features and Specifications
The physical dimensions of the DenGaWa R200 Portable Power Station are 8.5 x 4.1 x 6.7 inches (~21.6 x 10.4 x 17 cm), and it weighs 5.1 pounds (~2.3 kg) - the unit is compact and light enough to be carried even in the backpack, connected to compact, foldable, solar panel.
Note: If you intend to carry and charge the DenGaWa R200 at the same time, keep it/hang it outside of your backpack for better cooling.
DenGaWa R200 features a built-in lithium-ion 3.7V 67.5 Ah battery, being able to store ~250Wh of energy.
The battery is able to withstand up to 1000 charging/discharging cycles if some basic steps are taken, including:
- don't discharge the battery below 10%,
- when stored, charge it at least every 3 months,
- keep the stored battery at 40-70% charge,
- avoid very cold and warm storage areas.
The front of the unit features a small, but easily readable control panel, which includes the following:
- Remaining battery charge,
- AC output indicator,
- Error indicator,
- USB output indicator,
- Charging indicator,
- DC output indicator.
All power input/outputs are on one of the unit sides, and they include:
- 1x DC5521 plug-in Input,
- 2x AC Output: 110V, 250W total (500W peak),
- 1x USB QC 3.0 Output (1): 5V/3A, 9V/2A,
- 3x USB Outputs: 5V, 3A total,
- 1x DC Output: 12V, 10A max.
Despite being very compact, the DenGaWa R200 features seven (7) different outputs and one (1) input.
With its 250W of maximum continuous and 500W peak power, the DenGaWa R200 is suitable for charging USB-charged devices and for powering smaller AC units, like camping/RV fridges (usually around or below 60-70W), smaller flat TV-s, telecommunication devices, and similar.
But, it is not suitable for powering stronger tools and appliances - it simply is too small and not designed for such loads.
Additional features include an LED flashlight with 3 different modes, including light mode, Strobe, and SOS mode, which can be very handy in various situations.
The DenGaWa R200 power station/solar generator can be recharged using:
- AC: Wall socket 110V in 7-9 hours,
- DC: Car Port 12V, 8-10 hours,
- Solar Panel 12-23V, 40-60W, 6-10h.
The DenGaWa offers a range of solar panels that may be used with the DenGaWa R200 solar generator, including a 40W Foldable Solar Panel and 60W Foldable Solar Panel (Amazon links, open in the new windows).
Some users even go for 100-200W solar panels, but such units may overload the DenGaWa R200, and personally, they should be avoided.
What's in the Box?
When the unit arrives, the box contains:
- DenGaWa R200 Portable Power Station/Solar Generator,
- AC Adapter,
- 12V Car Port Adapter (output only),
- 12C Car Charging Cable,
- User Manual.
Note: When the unit arrives, be sure to read the User Manual thoroughly (it could be longer, explaining the operation of the unit in more detail. IMHO, of course.). DenGaWa R200 is an easy-to-use, charge, and store solar generator, but just better safe than sorry.
Long Story Short: If You are looking for a simple, compact, and affordable power station/solar generator with pure sine wave output and many USB charging ports, consider this one.
It doesn't feature wireless charging, WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity, and other advanced features, but it is also much cheaper than units that come with all those features.
