What Are The Brightest Flashlights In The World?
LED flashlights powered by ultralight lithium batteries packaged in a compact, but very resilient and durable aluminum bodies can provide extremely strong light beams with constant output levels having more than 10000 lumens and with burst modes up to 100000 lumens.
Such light intensities are not easy to achieve, and many low-quality brands offer cheap flashlights claiming 10000+ lumens of light. But, a good and reliable flashlight in the 1000+ lumens range and especially in the 10000+ lumens range cannot be cheap ...

Intro to Brightest and Strongest Flashlights
Modern flashlights are powered by high-capacity, high-power, ultralight lithium batteries, providing power levels that were hard to achieve with older battery chemistries like alkaline, zinc-carbon, Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), and similar.
Only Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) batteries were/are able to provide similar power levels, but they were/are heavier, have a very strong memory effect, charging times are much longer, support a much smaller number of charging/discharging cycles, have a larger self-discharge rate, contain toxic elements (cadmium!), etc.
Also, modern flashlights feature very strong and highly efficient LED as light sources, advanced control electronics, wireless charging, strong and durable construction, etc.
Thus, many modern flashlights feature several light modes, heat protection, battery charging protection, and similar.
Also, some larger flashlights, thanks to their large built-in batteries, can act as small power banks.
All these features also mean that very bright flashlights can be large and heavy, not to mention, pricey.
When looking for "the best" and "the brightest" flashlight in the world, choose according to your own needs and preferences - for "the best" and "the brightest" flashlight doesn't always mean the flashlight with the highest lumens ...
The following comparison chart lists some of the best and the most popular brightest LED flashlights in the world, with their most important features and specifications:
|Brightest Flashlights in the World|
|OLIGHT Marauder 2 Flashlight||14000

Depending on the actual requirements, some people prefer durable and resilient flashlights, while other people prefer high-performance flashlights - due to the heat dissipation, some flashlights even feature cooling fans. Obviously, such flashlights can't operate underwater and hence have a somewhat smaller IPX rating.
Tactical and even pocket flashlights can have surprisingly strong light beams, but at the expense of somewhat shorter runtime due to the smaller batteries and overheating.
But, having a 1000+ lumens EDC flashlight in the pocket, backpack, purse, or similar, can come very handy in many situations. Not to mention 250-300+ lumens keychain flashlight units ...
Brightest Flashlights in the World
Very bright flashlights have a maximum light output of 10000+ lumens, beam range sometimes up to or more than half a mile (800+ meters), various safety features (overheat protection, proximity sensor, and similar), several light modes, built-in batteries, and similar.
One of the very interesting features is so-called "reverse charging" - flashlights may function even as power banks.
Note: good 10000 lumens flashlight cannot be cheap - if such flashlight is offered for 80-100 US$ or for even less, then it is false advertising, or the flashlight is made of very low-quality components.
However, there are several excellent 1000-2000 lumens flashlights in the 75-125 US$ price range, that are perhaps not as powerful as 10000+ lumens flashlights but are lighter, compact, and more affordable.
Note: for comparison reasons, a typical household LED bulb features 800-1200 lumens of light. Now, compare it with a pocket/EDC 1000 lumens flashlight, or 10000 lumens tactical flashlight, or larger 50000-100000 lumens flashlight...
Again, choose according to your own needs and preferences.

This means that OLIGHT Marauder 2 flashlight features 15(!) different light modes. If that is not enough, then ...

Few Final Words
When looking for "the brightest" flashlight, the light strength (lumens) and intensity (candelas) are just some of the features to look for.
Although modern LED flashlights are fairly intuitive regarding their use and maintenance, when they arrive, be sure to read the manual in order to get accustomed to your new LED flashlight.
Also, regardless of the flashlight size and output, never point it to someone's face - unless when using it in self-defense (even then ...).
When choosing "the best" brightest flashlight for your own use, again, choose according to your own preferences and requirements. And stay safe ...
